Overview

Overview Since the Edo period (1603-1868), this kind of wooden spoon has been circulated in Uto region, Kugunocho, Takayama. The raw material of this wooden spoon is Japanese magnolia. This material is relatively soft, natural, simple in color, and will not be deformed even if it is dried.
Program Details ・ Start the experience after the spoon shape is formed. The head and handle of the spoon are taken from the same piece of wood, which is very strong because it has no joints. The spoon head is carved with a special knife. The confirmation of the thickness and the final wavy retouching are done by the instructor.

Cancellations & Changes In case of cancellation due to customer’s convenience, the following cancellation fee will be charged.
From 10 days to 8 days before the day before the travel start date: 20% of the travel price
From 7 days to 2 days before the day before the travel start date: 30% of the travel price
The day before the travel start date: 40% of the travel price
On the day of travel start: 50% of travel price
No contact and after the start of the trip: 100% of the travel price
